Visual Memory

Take a few pieces of Resources® and place them in front of the class. Once everybody has had the chance to see and remember the details, cover the Resources® so they can no longer be seen. Guide students to pick up pieces from a mixed pile corresponding to what they remember and line up the compositions according to their visual memory (color, sequence & orientation). The most alike placement gets the highest score. Guide the class to see their mistakes and how to improve.

Observation Skills

Show one Resources® piece to class and let the students observe it. Guide them to study the uniqueness of the shown piece, such as the form, size, and color. Assign students to find the identical piece in the opaque bag using only their hands. Once they find the correct one, take some time to discuss each piece’s unique form and characteristics.
